Haiti - Politic : Final details before the launch of PIDIH in Dominican Republic

Following the assessment mission of the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), carried out in Dominican Republic from 23 to 26 June 2014 for the implementation of the Programme of Identification and Documentation of Immigrant Haitians (PIDIH), https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-11519-haiti-politic-successful-mission-of-mhave-in-dominican-republic.html Marc-Élie Nelson, the Director General of MHAVE, coordinated Monday, an important meeting which was attended by several Directors General.

This preparatory meeting for the launch (PIDIH), attended by among others by : Frérel Normil of the National Office of Migration (ONM); Jean Wilfrid Bertrand of National Archives of Haiti (ANH); Fritzner Beauzile of the National Press; Jean Roudy Aly of Ministry of Justice and Public Safety; Claude Raymond Junior of the Immigration and Emigration and Gilbnert Biamby, Deputy Director General of the National Identification Office (ONI) had for objectives for the institutions involved in the implementation of the program, to finalize details to start the pilot project in the city of Barahona, by the end of this week.

Several other personalities and executives in the public service have also participated in the meeting including : Dr. Francis St-Hubbert, director of the study and programming unit at MHAVE; Édouard Valmé, Director of Cabinet of the Minister François Guillaume II; MM. Gérard Lacrête and Gustave Acacia, both members of the Cabinet of the Minister of MHAVE; Didier Hériveaux, Member of Cabinet of Minister of the Interior; Berthony Noel, Chargé de Mission in the Directorate General of the Ministry of Interior; Madelain Fils-Aimé Chief of Staff of the Minister Duly Brutus and Pierre Laviolette member of the Cabinet of the Minister Brutus.
