Haiti - Politic : Unfulfilled promises, announcement of unlimited strike in public hospitals

The signing of an agreement on February 23, 2017 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-20185-haiti-politics-first-victory-of-jovenel-moise.html of the lifting of the strike in the paralyzed health sector for several months, following the promises and commitments of President Moïse made to the National Federation of Health Workers (FENATRAS) to resolve the crisis in public hospitals, proves to be still today just words...
Levy Milot Félix, President of FENATRAS face with the President Moïse's non-respect of his commitments, especially on wage increases and growing discontent among employees of public sector hospitals, announces an indefinite strike in public hospitals from 5 February 2018 to force the Government to respect the terms of the agreement.
A strike if it becomes effective which could have, besides the usual consequences on the population, negative effects on the carnival activities and its needs in emergency care...
