Haiti - FLASH : High tension in Archaie, 2 dead

Monday morning, violent demonstrations broke out in the city of Arcahaie to claim according to radios of the capital, that all the light is made on the use of PetroCaribe Funds. Highly motivated protesters erected barricades of burning tires that greatly disrupted traffic.
In addition, a dozen unidentified individuals, whose claims are unknown, blocked the RN1 for at least two hours, at the level of Arcahaie (Luly level) threatening with firearms and machetes motorists, forcing them to hand over the keys of their vehicle to immobilize them, in the absence of noticed police forces...
Passenger of buses from the North were unable to reach the capital. Gun shots were reported by witnesses on site and two people were reported to have lost their lives in circumstances that the investigation will have to determine.
