Violent demonstration by "police offciers"
Monday, strong tensions occurred on the road to Delmas as part of a violent demonstration by a few dozen police officers, some in uniform and other hooded individuals wearing T-shirts identified as "POLICE" and armed automatic, accompanied by highly motivated opposition activists. USA : Interview with the new Chancellor Joseph
US Ambassador Michèle Sison spoke with new Chancellor Claude Joseph. These included the protection of American citizens, good governance, the fight against corruption, insecurity and the organization of free, fair and credible legislative elections in Haiti.

Telephone numbers against insecurity
Monday the new Minister of Justice announced that two telephone numbers "4706 7390/3194 1166" are made available to the population to alert the police of any acts of insecurity, aggression, kidnapping and others.

PNH recovers stolen vehicles

Covid-19 Epidemic : Global Report March 10, 2020
As of Tuesday March 10, 2020, the number of people who have been infected with Covid-19 worldwide since the start of the epidemic stands at 114,544 (laboratory confirmed cases, official source), up 4,268 cases compared to the day before, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30225-haiti-news-zapping.html (including only 21 more cases in China, 19 less than the day before). 64,031 people have been cured of Covid-19 (55.9%) since the start of the epidemic, 1,936 more than the day before. Today, the number of infected people receiving care (active cases) worldwide is 46,409. Since the start of the epidemic 4,026 people have died from Covid-19 (+4.84%) or 186 more than the day before (3.840) for an average fatality rate of 3.51% (+0.3%) compared to the day before (3.48%).

To date, there have been 33.788 confirmed cases outside China (+14.38%), or 4.247 more cases than the previous day, in a total of 108 countries (+2 countries compared to the previous day). Note that 6 countries (Italy, South Korea, Iran, France, Spain and Germany) alone account for 27,713 cases (82.02% of all cases outside China) and that 48 countries affected by Covid-19 have less than 10 cases.

870 deaths outside of China have been reported since the start of the epidemic, 165 more than the day before: 463 in Italy, 237 in Iran, 53 in South Korea, 1 in Taiwan, 1 in the Philippines, 3 in Hong Kong, 2 in Saint Martin, 9 in Japan, 30 in France, 2 in Germany, 17 in Spain, 4 in Australia, 1 in Canada Thailand, 7 in Iraq, 2 in Switzerland, 1 in Argentina, 5 in United Kingdom, 4 in the Netherlands, 1 in Egypt and 26 in the USA (755 confirmed cases + 33.8% compared to the previous day). Note that Italy, Iran and South Korea account for 86.55% of all deaths outside of China.
