The news was confirmed by the Divisional Inspector, Garry Desrosiers, Spokesman for the National Police of Haiti (PNH) "We confirm the release of the 12 people who remained hostage" stressing that he could not "give more details for the moment" (as in previous releases)

Reacting to this announcement on its website "Christian Aid Ministries", the religious congregation of which the hostages are members wrote "We give glory to God for the answered prayer : the 12 remaining hostages are free ! [...] Thank you for your fervent prayers over the past two months. We hope to provide more information as soon as we can."

Republican Senator Rob Portman (Ohio) thanked "the FBI, the State Department and the Haitian police who worked tirelessly to bring these missionaries home."

Let's underline as for the 5 first releases the circumstances of these releases remain still unknown.
