On Monday Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education proceeded to the installation of Jean Ronald Joseph, as the new Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE). He replaces Joseph Frantz Nicolas, who had held this position since October 2018.

In his intervention, Joseph Frantz Nicolas, the outgoing Director General, declared that he had never stood out from the two fundamental points of his mandate : the establishment and operation of the administrative mechanisms of the Fund, which was called upon to evolve as an autonomous institution and support for State efforts in the educational field.

He recalled that with a little more than 7 billion 521 million gourdes paid into this Fund, more than 5 billion 513 million were invested from 2018 to 2021 in various projects and programs summarizing the use of these funds during its 3 years. in office :
