Haiti - FLASH : At 104 years old, Odette Roy Fombrun launches a final appeal to the PM

Author of numerous educational books, a collection on civics and several novels, the well-known and respected former Haitian teacher and feminist activist Odette Roy Fombrun (104 years old https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-33972-haiti-social-mrs-odette-roy-fombrun-celebrates-her-104-years.html ), crowned "Living National Treasure" in 2009 in a message made public, makes an ultimate appeal to Prime Minister Ariel Henry asking him firmly to take action or "give way to more capable ones"
Message from Odette Roy Fombrun to Prime Minister Ariel Henry :
"Mr. Prime Minister,
Stop your broken promises to get us out of the quagmire by achieving an inclusive agreement ! Finally take action ! The restoration of security, the end of destructive gangsterism, the restoration of our institutions in disarray are essential to save the country, to rebuild it, to put it on the path of development. The economy is in tatters, misery is raging and fear is visceral. The country can't take it anymore !
With all the strength of my 104 years, I issue this final appeal to you : Act now ! Take action ! Or give way to more capable ones !
Note : To urgently equip the forces of order, demand from the USA the return of the millions in gold seized from our Central Bank during the occupation of 1915-1934. It would be justice and the entire population would support your efforts."
