Haiti - FLASH : The UN Security Council decides today on the aid to be provided to Haiti
This Monday, October 17, 2022, the United Nations Security Council will debate the situation in Haiti and should decide on the recommendations of the Secretary General, António Guterres, on the deployment of a rapid action force composed of one or more several countries to help the Government of Haiti to fight against insecurity and gangs.

The United States will table a resolution in the Security Council to support the deployment of the force, although it is unclear what role the United States will play in it https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-37891-haiti-politic-the-usa-ready-to-participate-in-a-multinational-rapid-action-force.html
