Thursday March 28, 2024, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) officially submitted to the resigning Prime Minister a.i. Ariel Henry, the list of 9 members of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), asking him to take all measures to facilitate their installation in the best deadline.

1 - Collective of January 30: Edgard Leblanc Fils

2 - Montana Accord: Fritz Alphonse Jean

3 - Agreement of December 21, 2022: Louis Gérald Gilles

4 - EDE/RED and political commitment and allies: Smith Augustin

5 - Fanmi Lavalas: Leslie Voltaire

6 - "Pitit Desalin" Party: Emmanuel Vertilaire

7 - Private business sector: Laurent St Cyr

Observer members (without voting rights):

8 - The former electoral advisor, Frinel Joseph

9 - Agronomist Régine Abraham

According to our information, on Friday a Council of Ministers was held with a view to issuing an Order appointing the members of the CPT and then publishing it in the Official Journal "Le Moniteur".

Let's remember that the mandate of the CPT is a maximum of 24 months, non-renewable and that none of its members can be candidates for an elective position in the next elections.
