Haiti - Tourism : The Tourism Minister was in Montreal this weekend

After delivering a speech on the occasion of the 10th edition of the "Art Basel Miami Beach", the Minister of Tourism, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin traveled to Montreal, Canada on Friday 3 and Saturday, Dec. 4 to meet and make the promotion of Haiti to stakeholders in the tourism and travel industry whose Mr. Philippe Sureau, co-founder and CEO of Air Transat, some Canadian tour operators and Lucille Daoust, Director of the 'Institut de Tourisme d'Hôtellerie du Québec (ITHQ)', ITHQ is one of the most important training institutions in North America specializing in the tourism, hotel and restaurant services industry. These meetings follow the second Quebec-Haiti Forum held on 17 and 18 November 2011 at the Hotel Plaza Holiday Inn in Montreal.
Recall that the Minister of Tourism had, on October 27, participated in the first annual Travel Fair at the Embassy of Canada which aimed to promote the sectors of travel and tourism in Haiti, it was during this event that she delivered her first public speech, in the presence of representatives among other of American Airlines, Air Canada, Air Transat, the Ibolele and Karibe Hotels, the Union and Dollar car rental companies, Air Caraibes, Club Indigo, L`Hotel Citadelle Henry 1er, Haiti International Business Centre, Helico Haiti, Tour Haiti, Voyages Lumières, Peace-Dividend Marketplace-Haïti (PDM-H) and other travel and tourism entities.
