Since its installation, the Bicameral Commission, responsible for choosing the three representatives of the Legislative Branch at College Transitional of Permanent Electoral Council (CTCEP) which should organize the next elections, continues to be faced with various difficulties and deeper into crisis a little more each day, deputies and senators can not agree on the terms of reference.

Contrary to what was expected, the definitive bureau of the bicameral commission has not been formed Monday because of continued disagreement. The deputy Jean Danton Léger, who took part in the discussions, announced his resignation as Secretary Rapporteur of the bureau, while confirming that he remained a member of the Commission and stated that the "ad hoc bureau no longer exists."

"If the commissioners did not write the Senate office to request an extension of deadline, the Commission will be considered invalid," declared the Senator Simon Dieuseul Desras, President of the Upper House "In this case, the President of the Lower House and myself, will be obliged to take a final decision."

For his part, the Senator Andrice Riché, a member of the Commission, convened his colleagues this Tuesday, in order to try to resolve this crisis. Meanwhile, members of the Senate and leaders of civil society organizations, among others : Edouard Paultre of the Council of Non State Actors (CONANE) and Rosny Desrochesof the Civil Society Initiative (ISC), met yesterday Monday to discuss the process of appointing of representatives of Parliament and facilitate a solution to the crisis. "We have appealed to these sectors to inform them of our approach, explain to them the difficulties encountered so that they can contribute in solving this problem," informed the Senator Jean William Jeanty.
