This Monday, Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, will be on Ile-a-Vache for a tour, to oversee the work of infrastructure, including the construction of the airport, the panoramic road that leads to it and other secondary access.

The head of government will benefit of its displacement on the island to carry out the delivery of fishing kits and generators to fishermen's associations. Moreover, it will delivery three all-terrain vehicles to responsible of the police station of the commune and will announce the construction of the hospital on the island, which will be for the first time, equiped with health infrastructure.

Already part of the special development plans of the government, Ile-a-Vache has already been equipped with social infrastructure (radio, canteen and a community center). Work to provide safe drinking water have also been made and are nearing completion.

All the work undertaken by the government are intended to make of the Ile-a-Vache one of the biggest tourist destinations in the region.
