Friday December 22, 2023, former Colombian soldier Mario Antonio Palacios (45 years old) appeared in federal court in Miami (Florida) to change his statement after signing an agreement with the Prosecutor's Office. After the hearing, his lawyer, Alfredo Izaguirre, described Palacios as just an escort and hoped he could avoid life in prison, the maximum sentence he faces.
