Haiti - Justice : Case of Judge Joseph, internal conflict at CSPJ

Following the opening of a disciplinary investigation by the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CSPJ) on 17 July, aimed at knowing if of members of another power had met the investigating judge Jean Serge Joseph, to exert pressure on the record regarding allegations about members of the presidential family, everything has gone wrong within the Council...
Thursday, in a statement, 7 members of the Council affirm meet internal difficulties preventing them from fully carrying out their mission. According to them, Anel Alexis Joseph, President of the CSPJ, opposed on the fact that some politicians have agreedas part of this investigation. In addition, the advisers criticized the President of CSPJ, to be intervened in the press suggesting that the Council will not take any position on this issue...
Remember, it is true that Anel Alexis Joseph had stated on the airwaves of a private radio station of the capital that "the investigation of CSPJ has come to nothing," adding that all persons heard by the CSPJ were not present at this alleged meeting, which took place according the rumours on July 11, 2013 "All, report confidences that were made to them."
