Haiti - Security : The PNH scores against the «rebels» of Petit-Goâve

Wednesday, during the presentation of his monthly report, Garry Desrosiers, the spokesman of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), announced that two operations "Oiseau fort" and "Douce Macos" were conducted by the PNH against the bandits of Petit-Goâve.
Monday, as part of the operation "ouce Macos" that was wtill ongoing Wednesday, 44 suspected bandits were arrested and 4 firearms seized. Two bandits (Gibson and Chardson) were injured by bullets after a shootout with the police forces.
Garry Desrosiers asked the population of Petit-Goâve to continue working with the PNH, by calling the numbers 113 and 114 to help the police to prevail peace and order in the town.
Also still in Petit-Goâve, the PNH arrested Wilson René, allegedly responsible for the attack on the Director General of the Office of Workers' Compensation Insurance, Sickness and Maternity (OFATMA) that he would have robbed of a sum of nearly 120,000 gourdes.
