Haiti - FLASH : Yves Jean-Bart announces his return to the head of the Haitian Football Federation

"On Friday February 24, 2023, I informed FIFA of my return as President of the FHF given that the circumstances which had ruled me out were canceled by the CAS award of February 14, 2023" declared Yves Jean -Bart without specifying the date of this return. According to his lawyers, legally he is no longer suspended from practicing by FIFA, nothing prevents him from becoming President of the Federation again. "Dadou" intends to end his term shortened by FIFA and organize new elections in February 2024.
Furthermore, he stated that his lawyers were already working with FIFA to obtain compensation "[...] My lawyers are already working with FIFA to obtain compensation for the damage caused not only to me but also to the whole football family. In this sense, a letter was drafted by my lawyers on February 24, 2023. In general, claims for compensation must extend to any person or national or international institution involved in the accusations against me, especially since some reacted with rare virulence after notification of the CAS sentence."
Note that FIFA has still not commented on the decision taken by the CAS.
