Evoking a strategy of diversion of President Jovenel Moise in the context of mobilization and in response to the summons of the Government claiming 123 million, Jean Marie Vorbe CEO of Sogener via Me Martine Chevalier, a lawyer of his company, sent in turn a summons to the BRH, the EDH, the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Finance and the DGI, ordering to pay the sum of just over 202 million US dollars (202,765,290.16) or the equivalent in Gourdes at the rate of the day fixed by the Central Bank in addition to the payment of lawyers and bailiffs fees...

An amount that according to Me Martine Chevalier represents the unpaid amount of electric energy produced and sold by Sogener from 2012 to 2019 to the EDH and the State... What we know in this case so far is that Sogener S.A. produces electricity on demand of the EDH and charges each kw produced and delivered according to contract tariffs. The control of kw produced and delivered by Sogener on the EDH network is ensured by 5 meters installed by the World Bank in a premises belonging to the EDH and to which Sogener does not have access. Each month before invoicing, a representative of EDH, Sogener and a Justice of the Peace checks the five meters and approves the number of kw produced and sent on the EDH network before billing by Sogener.
